    Privacy Notice

MOBIL3 LLC runs mobil3.xyz. This notice explains what personal data we collect on this site, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It follows Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and also applies if you visit from another country.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is MOBIL3 LLC (Mobil3), 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

For anything about your personal data, including exercising your rights, write to hello@mobil3.xyz.

    What data we collect

We collect the data you give us directly and some technical data about your visit:

    • Contact and sign-up forms (run on Tally): name, email address, company or organization, role, city, type of organization or partnership, your project's stage, a link to your GitHub, LinkedIn or portfolio if you share one, and what you tell us in the open fields, such as what you want to achieve, timing and budget range. Each form asks for only part of this.
    • Where your request came from: the page you sent the form from, the type of form and, if you arrived from a campaign, the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign parameters in the address.
    • Newsletter (run on MailerLite): your email address.
    • Site chat (Intercom): what you write in the chat and any contact details you share there.
    • Emails you send us: whatever you include in your message.
    • Browsing data: pages you visit, clicks and scrolling, device and browser type, language, approximate location derived from your IP address and how you found us, through the tools described in the cookies section.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health data, ethnic origin, beliefs or biometric data, or for personal financial data. Please do not include it in the open fields.

What we use your data for

    Primary purposes

These are needed to handle what you ask us for:

    • Answering your request for a hackathon, program, partnership, advisory work or sponsorship, and following up on it.
    • Reviewing your request, preparing a proposal and agreeing next steps with you.
    • Recording your interest in programs such as Mobil3 2027 and writing to you about your sign-up.
    • Sending you the newsletter, if you subscribed.
    • Running the site, keeping it secure and preventing abuse.

    Secondary purposes

These are not needed to handle your request:

    • Sending you information about other Mobil3 programs, open calls and events that may interest you.
    • Measuring how the site is used and which campaigns bring visits, so we can improve it.

If you do not want us to use your data for the secondary purposes, write to hello@mobil3.xyz with the subject “Secondary purposes”. Saying no does not affect your request or your relationship with us.

Who we share your data with

To run the site and handle your requests we use providers that process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:

    • Tally: contact and sign-up forms.
    • Attio: the system where we organize the requests that come in through the forms.
    • MailerLite: sending the newsletter.
    • Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager): site analytics.
    • Microsoft Clarity: page usage analytics.
    • Intercom: site chat.
    • Vercel: site hosting and visit counts.
    • Mux: playing the site's videos.

These providers may be in the United States or other countries, so your data may be processed outside Mexico. We share with them only what they need to provide their service.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not transfer it to third parties without your consent, except where the law allows it, such as a request from a competent authority. If a program you sign up for is run with a partner and we need to share your data with them, we will tell you and ask for your consent first.

    Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it is used:

    • Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager: measures visits, page views and actions such as sending a form or subscribing to the newsletter. We set it to anonymize your IP address and to keep its cookies for up to two hours.
    • Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager: records how you interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and pointer movement) so we can find usability problems. It sets its own cookies.
    • Vercel Web Analytics: counts visits without cookies.
    • Intercom: the chat uses cookies to recognize your conversation across visits.
    • Tally: forms load from tally.so inside the page, and Tally may save what you type in your browser so you do not lose it before sending.
    • Mux: the video player measures playback, for example whether a video loads and how much of it is watched.
    • The site's own storage: we keep your language and animation preference in your browser and, during your visit, the campaign parameters in the address and your position on each page. That data stays in your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and turn off Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site keeps working without them; the chat may not remember your conversation.

    Your rights (ARCO)

You have the right to access your personal data, to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete, to cancel it (ask us to delete it) and to object to its use for specific purposes. Mexican law calls these the ARCO rights.

To exercise them, write to hello@mobil3.xyz with the subject “ARCO rights” and include:

    • Your name and the email address where you want our answer.
    • A document that proves your identity or, if you act for someone else, your identity and your authority to represent them.
    • Which right you want to exercise and over which data.
    • Anything that helps us find your information, such as the form you sent or the approximate date.

We will answer within 20 business days of receiving your complete request and, where it applies, carry it out within the following 15 business days. If something is missing, we will ask you by email.

If you visit from another country

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place with similar laws, you can also ask us to restrict how we use your data or to give it to you in a portable format, and you can complain to your data protection authority. We process your data based on your consent (newsletter and analytics cookies), on steps you ask us to take before an agreement (contact forms) and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. If you are in the United States, you can ask us for access to your data or for its deletion the same way. No one is treated differently for exercising their rights.

Withdrawing consent or limiting how we use your data

You can withdraw your consent at any time and ask us to limit how we use or disclose your data. Write to hello@mobil3.xyz with the subject “Withdraw consent” or “Limit use” and include the same details as in an ARCO request. We will answer within the same time limits.

To stop getting the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.

Withdrawing consent does not apply retroactively, and in some cases we cannot act on it right away if the law requires us to keep certain data.

How long we keep your data and how we protect it

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this notice: request data while we follow up and for as long as any resulting relationship lasts; newsletter data until you unsubscribe. After that we delete it, or block it for as long as the law requires.

Only the people on our team who need your data to handle your request can access it, and we use providers with administrative, technical and physical security measures.

    Children

This site is meant for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to write to us for you. If we learn that we received data from someone under 18 without that consent, we will delete it.

    Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, our providers or the law change. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top. If a change affects the purposes or who we share your data with, we will also tell you by email if we have your address.
